Cell Phones
23/01/08 17:35
I didn't
think it was going to happen, but it has. Today, the
Massachusetts House of Reps passed a bill that would
ban text messaging and talking on your cell phone
while driving. CALL YOUR LEGISLATOR AND LET HIM/HER
KNOW THAT YOU DON'T WANT THIS BILL PASSED. This is
one of the most blatant examples of Uncle Sam butting
into your private lives to attempt to control you.
Statistically, the number of accidents caused by cell
phone distraction is miniscule. This bill exists
solely for the purpose of ticketing drivers for
revenue and, as usual, punishing teen
drivers.
